The multiplier is part of a round

In a crash-style game, a multiplier rises until the round ends. A stake that is successfully cashed out before that point returns according to the game's rules; a stake left in when the round ends loses. Read the exact rules, including acceptance timing and any automatic cashout feature, for the version in front of you.

Cashout needs an accepted action

Seeing a number on a screen is not the same as having a cashout accepted at that number. Network delay and interface timing can matter to what the account records. After a disputed or interrupted round, use its history and identifier rather than a recollection of the animation.

Auto cashout changes execution, not certainty

A preset target can reduce reliance on a manual tap, but the round can end before that target. A lower target produces smaller gross returns on successful rounds and does not create a guaranteed profit. Check what happens when a preset action cannot be applied or a bet is not accepted.

History is a record, not a signal

A display of recent multipliers describes completed rounds. In a game with independent rounds, a series of low results does not make a high result due. A pattern drawn after the fact is easy to see without having predictive value.

Set exposure outside the game

Fast rounds can make cumulative stakes hard to notice. Decide a time and money boundary before opening the game and count the total amount exposed. Do not increase a stake because a target was narrowly missed or because a social feed shows someone else's high multiplier.
